Here in America, we live in a climate of moral decay. What is the cause of this? It is called "anime". Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates. Here are a few examples of anime which are circulating on the Internet and may very well be in your home:

1) Ah My Goddess: A sick and disgusting show which causes children under the age of 18 to think they are capable of love. The main female character is clearly under 18, and is forced into a romantic relationship by an older man who "wishes" for her to be his girlfriend forever. He even KISSES her, and she appears NAKED. That poor girl must be so confused.

2) Love Hina: I'm not even going to mention the unspeakable, disgusting, pedophilic, pornograhpic events which transpire during this show, but suffice it to say, groups of young men on Love Hina-fueled rampages are raping children at a level unheard of since the 60s.

If you are a parent or a decent human being, I urge you to sign this petition to ban all forms of anime in the United States. Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an exhorbant period of time. Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children.

As a resonsible Christian, I demand to see this garbage removed from our nation. Please sign this petition and send it to George Bush, your Congressman, and the makers/distributors of anime filth and depravity.

This is moronic. I sure hope my parents don't go this far.

Have these guys even watched any anime? They seem to be trying to make it sound worse so Mr. Bush will act on it. In Ah! My Goddess Keiichi and Belldandy are approximatley the same age! In fact, i would perhaps even say that Belldandy is the older one

LMAO, it just goes to prove that there are dumbasses all over the world. 5 minutes of fame is what some people long for, and I guess the author of that letter got that.

I read an article yesterday about parents refusing to let their kids go to the local pool because once a month, one pool was closed off for a group of naturists swimming naked in there. "Unhygenic" according to the parents. Its PC gone crazy.

People being vocal on issues they don't understand. I mean, can you imagine what would happen if the author of the letter above had watched something like Oruchuban Ebichu....

Well it's pretty typical coming from a "responsible Christian parent". It's people like these that just make me want to go into a church and swear like crazy. If I had to say anything, I would say, "If you think anime is bad, try listening to me on a bad day."

... I happen to be a person of Christian faith, myself, but people like this guy just takes it all way too far. I never cared for Love Hina, but I sincerely doubt that it has any modicum of responsibility for increased occurrences of child molestation by older men. That's just stupid.

.... Ugh. Why is it always just anime or just video games that is the virtually sole reason for my country's moral decline?

Now I am all fueled with unnecessary righteous indignation at this injustice; I need to go off and banish a few demons to the Abyss with my sword for a little while to clear my mind. Excuse me.

I think this guy hasnt actually watched any of the serieses hes mentioned, i havnt watched Love Hina i admit. but im a big Ah! My Goddess fan. Im only on season 1 ep 16 but so far keiichi hasnt even held belldandy's hand for more than a minute. And as for bell being seen naked.... the dvds only have a PG (parental guidence) rating. (For you guys in the US our rating system goes : U, PG, 12, 15 and 18). Btw: cn sumone tell me, do bell and keiichi ever kiss? dont tell me which ep thnx
