My top 10, in no particular order since thier is no way to actually decide which is better.

Code Geass (Both seasons, though R2 is personally better in my opinion.)

Giant Robo- Very epic anime.

Elfen Lied- Sad anime, but good.

Battle Angel Alita- Tech I like the Manga (but one day i pray that they make a anime worthy of it, or maybe the new movie version that is supposedly being made)

08th MS Team- Again another downer.

Ghost in the Shell- Mainly refering to the original Movie, though the series, manga, and 2 other movies are also very good in thier own way.

Neon Genesis Evangelion- Epic anime, epic movie. Beware watching this anime may make you lose your mind.

Perfect Blue- Another insane anime, probably one of the few suspense animes out there

Grave of the Fireflies- OMG depressing.

Cowboy Bebop- Good anime, a little lacking in depth for most of it though.

I think this is as best anime i could think up, if i had to say 10this would be it.
