| Goddess of DaTorrents ![]() | lol see thats where id have to agree... i dunno what terrorist has a sense of "american humor" enough to go wire his bombs with a LED mooninite on it.. and yes, to a TRAINED expert, it should have been easy to see this was nothing more than what it was. but then also, on the flip side of things, i dont know why CN wouldnt have just -told- the police dept or some public official what they were doing in means of advertisement? i dont see that it was as big a deal in other cities... just in boston, but still i suppose they could have given a notice just in case... bet they will next time :P too bad they didnt do it in texas... no one would have thought bomb.. theyd have laughed their heads off XD

| well the responsibility should have been to the advertising agent, not the company that hired them. cn may have known that these devices were going to be placed in certain locations but the actual permits or notifications is the responsibility of the agency that was going to supply and process the request. just my 2 cents here. | |

| Goddess of DaTorrents ![]() | yeah, the agent did go to jail... i think that was WAY much. a simple fine for not following rules and guidelines of the city would have been more than sufficent but some cities... ppl just have to be too freakin overdramatized on things. its rediculous. it should not have been made into the huge deal that it is now. CN shouldnt be taking a bad rep for it either, or be fined, or anything else. Thanks to TW for covering their fines tho @_@ apparently they see eye to eye with why CN shouldnt be covering for it :P

| I think our "overreaction" and general skittish-ness is clear evidence of the terrorist success. THIS is the shi* the terrorists wanted...confused, terrified human beings. Personally I think we ought to live FEARLESSLY, live with vigor, and with humor again. 20, 30 years ago this prank probably would have been frowned upon...but surely not have been made into a big deal like this. LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!!! You only get ONE LIFE TO LIVE!!! Live the best, most free life y ou possibly can!! I go to war for my country, because I think there are things worth fighting for (and dying for). And living a free life without the psychological stress of terrorism is part of that which is worth fighting for!! Please, my friends, go in peace, don't live in fear any more, live once, live well!! | |
