Minutes to Midnight

I just got the New linkin park CD Minutes to midnight...

I am rather dissapointed.

Its more soft rock/rap than the NU metal that LP became known for.

I still like linkin park and Minutes to midnight is awesome...its just lesst than I expected.

I hope the Next Album goes back to the NU metal sound they are known for

Surely NU metal = soft metal...?

You can't really call these guys hard metal, they're more like a heavier Justin Timberlake.

Don't get me wrong, I love Linkin Park as much as the next person, but with all of the remix albums that we've had to deal with waiting for new material, I can't help but feel that they've sold out a little.

Whether they're Nu Metal or not, they still make me want to listen to their stuff. Hell, I pretty much have every album except Live in Texas and Project Revolution. I do agree that Minutes to Midnight it is different than their usual stuff but they still make it work. Chester still has his signature vocals and Mike Shinoda once again tears up the mic.

Does anybody else notice that the labeling is wrong for the songs when they are loaded onto a computer >.>
On the Label of the CD it lists the songs
1. Wake
2. Given Up
3. Leave out all the Rest
4. Bleed it Out
5. Shadow of the Day
6. What ive done
7. Hands Held High
8. No More Sorrow
9 Valentines Day
10. In between
11. In Pieces
12. The little things that give you away.
This is the way the songs are heard on the cd But when dl'd onto a computer they play out the way listed above but labeled
1. Stand!
2. Bleed it out
3. Get Through
4.What Ive Done
5. Inthis World
6. The little things that give you away
7. Hold Nothing Back
8. Over the Top
9. Promisse
10. Real Life
11. Afraid this time
12. 2 worlds

does anyone else have this problem?

I don't think I've had this problem since I actually downloaded the album. If you know the labeling on the CD is correct, just change the summary of the songs on the computer. Also, WMP might be a bit retarded at times (when I downloaded a couple anime songs and changed the summary, it didn't really change it in the player) but only if you use it.

The LP Album is awesome. The lyrics carry more meaning than any of their previous albums.

Though I must agree their new album was a little less than I expected, it is still awesome.

Justin Timberlake!? WTH? I see no resembalnce...

I have all of their songs now (Not neccesarily every piece of released music)... even the Underground stuff... all I am missing is one song and I cannot seem to find it... but oh well.

Also the wrong titles were probably due to the false "album leak" that occured and the database hasn't been updated since.

Did you get the special edition MarzKnight?

I don't like linkin park..I like their "In the end" song..but i think thats because I have an emotional attachment to the FF9 AMV I have with it! hehe...
