| RevanFlame's pet | I thought this was going to be a "Labyrinth" kind of movie, that is for kids... but how wrong was I >.< This film is utterly awesome. I love foreign films anyway, but the acting was superb (especially the little girl), the script was brilliant, the special effects are breathtaking, and I would seriously recommend this film to anyone! I love Guillermo Del Torro anyways (I already have Kronos and Devil's Backbone on dvd), and know how dark some of his stuff can be, but I was completely blown away by this one. The guy with no eyes, except the ones in his palms was AWFUL! Seeing first the picture of him eating children, then sitting so still at the table, I was almost shouting at the screen for the girl to get out of the room! There is nothing to disappoint in this film, it is a rollercoaster ride of emotions though. I would give this 9/10, probably one of the highest scores I would ever give a movie ;P H.

| Nyuu~ | I agree completely with you. I thought this movie was insanly good, I love fairy tales and fantasy. 9/10 for me, and the only reason it's not a 10/10 is because I felt the ending was too rushed. Don't get me wrong it was an AMAZING ending, just they fit too many thing in at once^__^

| Beginner | I thought this movie was going to be more like Mirrormask (in concept). So when I saw it I didn't like it because I thought the girl was going to enter another world and have an epic adventure. The movie is really well done and it has great special effects. But I had another mentality. Thats why I didn't like it. |

| RevanFlame's pet | I absolutely adore Del Toro, and his new movie doesn't look like it will disappoint. I don't even speak Spanish and it creeped me out ^^ YouTube - EL ORFANATO - Trailer H.
