What makes us Human?

C'mon what is it? Ethnics...anatomy? What do you think makes a person human. Why aren't animals human?

Question doesn't make sense. It's like asking why can't a dog be an elephant.

Humans are just human because of the way they look. Even if they act like a cat, they're still human.

Human, to be human is to have knowledge of your own death and life.
Most believe animals do not have theses thoughts and should be treated like girls historically have been treated, like objects for male use, sorry males.
Anotomy just puts people in boxs, we are all really just mixed up and loving people.

Anotomy, I will write about anotomy, I guess, bored, well, I love the female anotomy and the male anotomy and I think they have nothing to do with being human, there are very animal like people in the world and I don't know some people are less human than some animals.

You worded your questions wrong then. You should be asking about intelligence or love instead of what it takes to be human. The word human is basically short for homo sapiens sapiens, a specific kind of animal. Asking why other animals can't be human doesn't make sense.

It sort of makes sence to me, animals are living beings and I have wondered myself why they are not just called more people.
Some animals are so, sweet, kind, loving and intelligent why not treat them with respect?

Sorry for wording it wrong then, but you don't need to be so rude about it. I'm taking a philosophy class in my fourth year and that IS the question I'm asked. A human being.. some people think it's our anatomy that makes us human..but humams are animals so what makes us so different? Is it a soul? I think it's because we are unending in our search for answers. You don't think of the animals travelling to space or thousands of miles under the sea for the pure sake of knowledge do you? There aren't lizards tracing their family ties to dinosours are there? Hmm..
