anyway, many people find it annoying to have to go off site to get stuff as it defeats the point of having this site.
also, using filefront, you can't preview what it is you are downloading. this poses a big security risk, as you have no idea what you are downloading and could endup with a shed-load of viruses. nasty. |
To be fair he did have thumbnails up, but they were removed because the rules forbid the posting of hentai images outside sections marked for them. It appears we are allowing direct download threads (since some do like it over torrents or getting them individually from the gallery), but that could change if it gets abused. Anyone who finds a virus in a file posted to DaT should report it to a member of the
DaT staff either by using the report icon (
) next each post, PM on the forums, or joining #thestaff@irc.deltaanime.net.
