This movie is from the same novel as the manga/anime Basilisk. I really liked the movie since it stars Yukie Nakama. Aside from that, it seems that Gennosuke had a different technique than in the manga. Although the story and characters were altered, it is not bad at all. I never got a chance to see this on theathers but I grabbed one for DVD. I want to upload it on the tracker but it will not be allowed since the DVD has a US release.
