1. A seed is someone who has a full copy downloaded of the torrent and is only uploading, not downloading.
2. Just leave azureus open and it will automatically connect to other peers and upload to them. The longer you leave it, the more you upload and the better your ratio will be.
3. Get a dictionary...? Dunno
We have never banned for having close to a 1:1 ratio. The people we were banning had ratios below 0.1, and deserved to be removed form the site. There is, however, no banning going on at the moment. Could change at any time though.
