I'm very new to using any type of torrent program at all. After about 4 hours of messing around, i finally have azureus installed and forwarded properly (i hope) and also haven't downloaded anything yet. I noticed on the forums about getting banned for not having a 1.0 seed ratio. I checked my seed ratio and it is very very low. I am unsure how to go about seeding (am i even using this term correctly?) or raising my ratio. I'm a huge fan of the simoun series and i'd like to get this resolved as soon as possible to so i can get the last 3 episodes!

So i guess to make this easier for those with the knowledge to answer my questions i'll break it down a bit.

1. What is a seed exactly?
2. I'd like to know how to make my ratio 1.0 or higher.
3. Is there any way i can make my questions more specific?
