I found this, just be aware that effective folder hiding tools use rootkit (they hook OS kernel and filter the specified folders from showing up in listings) technology so may have to disable any scanners you have running while installing it. Of course if you put the drive in another system or mount the filesystem with another OS the folders will be visible.

You can also just encrypt the files. WinZip supports AES encryption which is more than enough to keep away prying eyes. There is also a program called TrueCrypt that creates an encrypted volume that you can mount like it was a hard drive. The nice thing about Truecrypt is it's ability to create hidden volumes within an existing volume for plausible denial. You create an encrypted volume and put a few harmless files in it, then you create a hidden volume, with a different key, and put stuff you want to hide in it. If someone demands to see what's inside you can show them the volume with the harmless files and there is no way to prove the hidden volume exist unless they have the key for it.
