Do you watch Anime (Japanese Animation)? Yes

- how often? Multi able times a week

- what genres? Romantic Comedy, Science fiction, Fantasy

- what series? Currently Ergo Proxy, recently finished Blood+, Eureka seveN, Starship Operators.

- how long? Been an avid fan for almost 6 years, but I've watched anime before I knew what it was since I was a kid (Speed Racer, Astroboy, Mobile Suite Gundam)

Do you watch fansubs or fandubs (if yes, which)? Fan-subs.

If you have watched/or still watch anime, how did you first learn about it? Exposure through friends. Friend showed me an Evangelion AMV, and I watched the series, rest is history.

Do you prefer subtitled or dubbed anime? Dub with Sub, with option for Japanese track.

Do you prefer more literal translations or culturally acceptable translations? Literal, story is lost when its "Americanized"

Do you read manga? Yes

If yes:

- how often? Consitantly, I've re-read my entire collection (About 50-55 volumes) three or four times now.

- what genres? Romantic Comedy, Science Fiction, Fantasy.

- what series? Ai Yori Aoshi, Chobits, Love Hina, FLCL, RahXephon, Evangelion, Full Metal Panic!, Azumanga Daioh.

- how long? 4 years now.

If you have read/still read anime, how did you first learn about it? First picked up manga at a Convention, rest is history.

If you watch anime and read manga, which do you prefer and why? I prefer both, you can't always watch anime, so i read manga in my spare time.

Do you fan translation of manga? No. I do read "Scanlations" though.

Do you use p2p programs? ifso, which? Bittorrent.

Do you download via IRC? No.

Do you download via specific direct download sites (ifso which)? No.

If you download via any of these, do you download anything other than anime? Yes, Software, Games, Music.

If so, what percentage would say is anime? 40%

Do you download anime licensed in your country? Yes, until it goes down in price, then I buy.

Do you buy licensed anime? If you answered yes to the previous question, does this make you less likely or more likely to buy licensed anime? I own several series (Full metal panic, FLCL and Evangelion to name a few), and No, it doesn't.

Do you buy any anime related product other than episodes/movies? Ifso, what? Posters, Magazines, Wallscrolls, Video Games.
