LOL...I agree with you a bit ReducedFat. I do love Berserk, but it *is* far too tedious...The first fifteen volumes were better, I agree. I just loved how utterly depressing and dark it was, then the pixy character would pop up and in effect say "Hey, look! I'm cute! You shouldn't cut your wrists out of despair after all!" Most manga/anime doesn't have such a balance of angst and humor. It keeps them both from becoming irritating.

I hate how Griffith isn't really in the series anymore. He was my favorite character. And, I hate it how he somehow seems to love the princess all of sudden, when it was stated he only had sex with her because he was upset Gats left, and that he just wanted to use her to be king. Maybe he is still using her? But that STILL hasn't been explained. Again, the manga wastes way too much time on secondary characters and events and ignores the bigger storyline. Not like I hate any of the characters, though, but there is just way too much crap going on at one time. Still can't complain too much, though.
