We wouldn't need to keep accounts.
The idea of the user accoutns, is that a user can then mark torrents under thier name and such. We'll also introduce some other things to make regging a plus.
Public as in free game. The torrent doesn't need to be posted on us, but we'll be sure to ask the users todo so
Though, with that being said, i'm fairly sure that we could put it in ***** mode, where it only works on info hashes in it's database, that we'd add as users upload.
The new tracker can handle 700,000 peers on a
celeron.
EDIT -
Confirmed that we can put it in strict mode, so only torrents posted on DAT are tracked.
