Hello,
I recently stumbled across this torrent:
http://www.datorrents.com/torrents-details.asp?id=7960
and I was extremely shocked to see all of the doujin-world translations blatantly compiled into this single torrent.
Now everyone has their own opinion about this, but as a frequent to doujin-world's website, and a sporadic talker on their IRC channel, I have come to know that these are good people and deserve a little more respect.
They have made it clear that they oppose others taking their translated work and reposting it all over the internet, however easier that might be for the rest of you.
The webmaster of this site, known to us as Numbus, recieves under $300 monthly in donations for a service that costs well over $600, the difference comes straight out of his pockets. Spreading around the doujinshi's around the internet decreases traffic to their website, thus lowering the chance of someone signing up for HentaiKey GT, where they recieve payment in compensation, or even potential donators.
The team of translators do this service for free, or in this case, they do it at a loss. They might not be the best (I haven't seen better anywhere else), and they might not be the only, but they are one of the few rare Japanese Doujinshi translators that do the service for free.
Many a woe of those who don't seem to care is the process of downloading the finished products on IRC. Well, the intstructions are clearly posted on their site, and after about five minutes of tinkering, it becomes easy to download the translations. With a little effort, it is very possible to figure out how to do it.
I understand that many people don't give a crap about this, well it is the internet after all. But I am asking you all for a sort of a "courtesy" in this matter. I'm well aware that you might not even consider my request, but what is the harm in trying.
Best Regards,
