| That is a serious issue. I live in Central Florida with a power company that is totally unreliable. I can't even afford a new UPS because of so many outages it wears out the batteries too fast so I just have it attached for good protection. So this issue where if you don't stop a torrent properly and it not updating is a serious issue. No wonder my ratio is only .95 when I have seeded so much every download I have done I have done at least 125% seeding on.
Something needs resolved with the tracker when it detects a disconnect. Power glitches computer reboots and I lose all my upload credits yet it sure doesn't seem to lose download credits. It's going to be totally nuts if I have to stop my torrent every half hour or so just to make sure I get credit especially when I like to seed at night at almost max upload at 90kb to help out. I will have to stop helping out at night because I am asleep and can't manually stop it to make sure I get credit that I should be getting. With IP Telephony service I can only afford to seed fast for others at night when it does not intefere with the telephone service. |
