| I think the top people at Sony are smoking crack, expecting me to shell out $600 then pay up to $105 (they offically said early this week that prices for games can range from $65 to $105 on some games) for some games when I do not even have a big flat screen HD tv is crazy. They have lost sight of their target audience here, I know $2500 60 inch plasma screens are sweet but what percentage of the total market has all that? And whilst Blueray is neat, no game is going to ever be made that takes up even half of the max space they can hold so what is the point when the friggin Blueray drive adds $200 onto the system? I have never watched a DVD on my PS2 and do not expect to watch any Blueray DVD's on it anytime soon. What a waist, if they had only cut the Blueray and dropped the price to $450 it would kill the Xbox 360 and the Wii sideways, now it is all up for grabs. |
