it seems that eveyrone has the same kind of thinking when stating that the words "I love you" are being used much too often when the feeling that is being felt is lust. nothing wrong with lust but i always associate lust with kinda like an icht that you need to scratch.
to me "i love you" means that even if the person drives you insane at times and makes you boiling mad, at the end of the day you look at them and a warm and peaceful feeling fills your heart and soul and you realize that this is the one for you.
being married for close to 14 years, i still feel loved and the love i have for my hubby. strange but true, i believe this is due to the fact that my parents divorced at an early age and for me i was looking for a love that would only grow with time and not dissipate.
we argue, fight, make up, etc just like any other couple but at the end of the day, it is him that i want to be next to when i go to sleep and when i wake up in the morning. lust was my first feeling for him and still is but i truly can say that i LOVE my hubby, faults and all. and he loves me with all my faults as well.
that is my take on the subject.
