Question Bioshock.

Did anyone ever pick up Bioshock for the pc?

My poor little windows xp computer doesn't run it.

I tried it over at someone elses house and the graphics are crisper than what the Xbox 360 was offering. Yet, you need one hell of a computer to run it all together.

requiring at the least 2.4ghz single core processer. Which when a game says minimums, you'll proably be running lag time like it isn't funny. Then everything just gets choppy.

An intel core duo processer would work better.
Running on windows vista.
With direct X 9.0 or better downloaded.
A nvidia geforce 8600 or better video card.
Using a sound-blaster series sound card.

That alone can run your bill for a computer like it isn't funny. I could build an ultimate gaming pc for $2399 dollars or so. ultimate as in that is as cheap as it will get while still making other computer users jealous of your 10,000 watt power base. With a computer like that even your Ram will need a fan to cool it down. This is of course, ignoring the costs of installing certain software that you would want.

I had to throw out two old computers to use the one I have now. This one can run World of wacraft, guild wars, and runescape. Though It won't handle most modern computer games. Well, not with grace if at all.
