A 175MB file size, in most cases, for a 30-minute run time, is not in HD. Most of the 30-minute true HD encoded in H.264 and contained in .mkv has about 350~MB in file size.

It all depends. You did not mention anything about the run time, resolution, audio compression, etc. For a 175MB, I can fill it with something that has no audio and yet Hi-Def video. It's all see what you like and take what you prefer.
