All H.264 is just a more recent codec that gives the same, if not better, video quality at lower bit-rates (And thus smaller file sizes). |
You are talking about size of the file, what if both Xvid(Divx) and H.264 are the same size which is usually around 175MB which has good quality(not grainy)?
