AIR and Kanon Games

I downloaded http://www.datorrents.com/torrents-details.asp?id=7457

When I extracted the Air.rar, it made 4 more files. 2 really large files, and two really small. I burned each large file on their own separate DVD-Rs making 2 disks.

Then I extracted Kanon next which made 2 more folders. One foler had another .rar in it called "xkanontool" and then also had a bunch of .ASF files named "Voice"

The second kanon folder had a large .bin file and a small .cue file.

So I burned the large .Bin to its own DVD-R.

My questions are:

I only burned 3 files to disk...What do I do with all the others that can't even be burned to a disk?

Why is Air called Air blue and Air orange? o.O

And lastly, I plan on buying the two games in a few months because I really want the authentic game disks and cases. After burning the two Air disks, I put them back into the dvd-drive to see it if they worked, and well yes, an Air game installer came up.

I can't read Japanese though and have been searching since last year for an AIR and/or Kanon game patch. I've looked all over the place and asked some people online who I thought would have the answer...I've never tested any patches and I read that there are a lot of problems.

So could anyone please tell me of a way to translate these two games into English? If there even is a way.

Also, Most forum threads I've read on this subject are over 2 years old...so yea, I really am looking for some up to date help.

Thank you for reading~
